Where is Idial dialup service available?

There is only one dialup access number listed in my area.  Will I get busy signals?

Having a single number does not mean there is just one modem line available. We have many lines available behind the scenes in each of our dialup locations. Our network is designed to prevent busy signals through the use of the latest technologies available.

Included with your dialup service is the ability to access thousands of local access numbers throughout the nation. Please use our dialer or local access number search tool to find a number in the area you will be traveling to. Idial cannot represent or guarantee that any local access number is actually local to you. If you have any doubt, please contact your local telephone company for assistance.

How fast will my connection speed be?

Idial provides industry standard "56k" V.90 and V.92 connections at every dialup location. Your modem, the telephone lines, switches in your area, and user traffic determine the actual speed at which you connect. Will Idial ever sell any of my personal information?

Idial will never sell or provide any customer information to any third party or outside business organization or private party. We value your privacy and guard it to the best of our abilities. Idial will however provide information on a case by case basis to any government or law enforcement agency as required to do so by law.

What happens once I connect to Idial?

Once you have established a dialup connection, you can then open up your web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) or email program (Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.). Since we do not lock you into using any special or required software, you are free to use any of your favorite internet applications and browse where you like.
